Insert now the cliche "New Year, New Me" opening... "Ugh, As if!" This year on the blog I'm hoping for a lot more interaction with my readers. You guys have shown and given me so much love, it's my time to return the favor. For example, this post was inspired by a reader who challenged me to achieve a Modern Day Clueless look. I hope I didn't disappoint. Not only could I not give up the challenge, I mean come on who doesn't love the Clueless wardrobe? Cher had it all. But another thing that Cher learned besides finding the best accessories was the lesson of coming of age gracefully. Like Cher, mixing and matching her fave prints, sometimes in life you have to mix and match your plans in order to achieve something more beautiful than the picture you're used to. Like clothes, have fun with life and don't take anything too seriously. These are the ideals I cherish in my current state of moving from Richmond in hopes to moving to New York. I'm learning to appreciate all the things that I was privileged with and to look forward to a brighter and successful future, more independently than ever. This is my time and I'm committed to making my dreams come true. So this 2015 watch me show the world that I have what it takes, and I hope that it encourages you to know that you do too!
