Boy do I have some exciting news for you guys! But first let me recap on all the things I learned today. Today, I was given the opportunity to sit in on a Seventeen Magazine run through meeting on how they go about comparing and contrasting their ads and advertorial spreads to other magazine competitors. It really showed me how much as readers we don't pay attention to such small minute details, that are huge deals in the magazine world, and big NO NOs! Things such as over blown ads that have the words cut off, or it is such a faux paux to have two magazines (especially under the same company) to run the same celebrity for a certain month. The intimate experience of really getting to see the decision making was ideal. In my head I was thinking to myself, "These people are the people who determined the cool and uncool, the hot and not, the what's in and what's out of all my teenage years and still today, are freakin surrounding me RIGHT NOW!" I've always imagined the faces, the conversations, the outfits. But they are regular, fabulous people. Yes, they may have a bit of an edge in style, but they are just as down to earth as we are. (but with an extensive background and impressive resumes).
But the icing on top of the cake is what you all want to know! I'm inviting one of my lucky readers and whomever guest they chose to be guaranteed an RSVP'd spot to the launch of the Pretty Little Liars Collection by Aeropostale! There will be a party that is held on Wednesday, January 8th from 6-8 pm at the Aeropostale Times Square store. Aeropostale has partnered with costume designer Mandi Lane (who will be there) to create the first ever Pretty Little Liars collection, which is inspired by the personalities and distinctive styles of the show's trendsetting characters. Characters amongst which is Trioan Bellisario whom plays Spencer's character on the show will be there! (possible meet and greet). The collection will hit stores nationwide and Aeropostale.com on January 5th.
