Phases of Flair: Bianca Flair
My new internship at Richmond, Va's new thrift shop Bianca Flair has allowed me to grow and I haven't even been working there for a month! This photo shoot was my first one where I did many aspects solo. I'm not a photographer or photograph editor but this past photo shoot has allowed me to evolve in my craft in more ways than one. All it took was me, my camera, and a model. I thank store owner Kimberly Newsome for supporting and allowing me the opportunity to officially let the world see what I can do! Special thanks to the model, VCU rising junior and Fashion Merchandise major,Victoria Sterling as well. It was her first photo shoot and you would have never been able to tell. With her poise, confidence, and bubbly attitude it led me to believe that I not only chose a perfect fit for the store but for my portfolio as well. She shows girls you don't have to be super thin to wear different looks. She is the what the average woman is and want to see, with a dash of just gorgeousness. I hope all you reading stay tuned for what's in store, this is only a fabulous start to a fashionable ride!
Style On,

Runway Couture: Naturally Haute
This past Saturday after my long journey to New York for Fashionista.com's first "How to Make it in Fashion" conference, I rushed straight back to Richmond to attend Runway Couture's "Naturally Haute" fashion show. Owner of Runway Couture, Chrissy Crawford did a lovely job providing not only a sophisticated fashion show but plenty of musical and dance entertainment as well. The show featured National Recording Artist. John Michael, who did an amazing job and enhanced the atmosphere for the models to strut they're stuff in. The designers did a great job as well, from luxurious sparkling jewelry to outfits made of nothing but caution tape. My favorite piece of the show had to be a red cape that was just to die for! I wish I had captured a better image of it, but I was just so excited to walk down the runway! The show was located at Brickstone Grill in the Midlothian area. Before the event there were plenty of great vendors featured whom I actually bought some great accessories from myself! Check out some snapshots from the event!

I absolutely loved Cori Coren Boutique. Her and her daughter were so sweet, mom and I as you can see just had to purchase some of their items!

Loved this mother daughter duo (right) from CHIC by Shennan. Mom and I (left) enjoyed looking at their products, and mom purchased a lovely bracelet from them.

Bloom Service: DIY
These floral sunnies have bloomed a spot into my list of must haves this Spring/Summer season. I love this trend! It's such a girly, whimsical, romantic kind of look that is easy to do on your own! Learn how to obtain this Star Style on your own with this DIY post. The steps are fairly easy and simple. Check out some cool sunglasses from a couple of stores who have already achieved the trend!

Outfit of the Day
This Spring has been the weirdest. So I have been trying to embrace the in between with showing off some leg but not skin yet and still adding some warm layers on the top for balance. I got my skirt and top from FOREVER 21 and my shoes from urbanog.com!
