Hollywood Glamour

Today's post was inspired by old Hollywood Glamour, an era most highlighted between the 20-40's. I've always wondered why people always assume that because they aren't a famous actress or singer that you have to limit your wardrobe. I often hear women say" I could never pull that off! But you certainly could." But what makes me different from anyone else? I'm not a famous celebrity or any who even has half the means to have half the things they do. Of course they can afford the highest of quality of clothes but what makes celebrities the only people that are accessible to beautiful things? Nothing.

Like my mother always said, "You can't buy style." From that advice is exactly why I choose to dress the way I do. I'm no Sarah Jessica Parker or Marilyn Monroe but I know I love fashion and I'm not exempt to looking glamorous no matter what class bracket I'm in! Every girl deserves to look their absolute best. So the next time your thinking you can't pull something off and wanting to hit the envy button; know that you rock girl! Confidence is so beautiful.

Top Off Your Game

Hi Fashionistas! Happy Thursday! Today's look was inspired by my sadness of not being able to attend Paris Fashion Week this week and the trend of fall hats. Here I wanted to show you how you can incorporate those cute trendy floppy hats into your fall wardrobe. Designers like Stella McCartney and Saint Lauren's fall hat attire are trickling down to our favorite stores such as Urban Outfitters and Nasty Gal. The scenery behind my pictures were the most parisian look I could find in Richmond (laughs to self). The house behind me actually had a French flag waving in the front. I titled today's outfit; Top Off Your Game because of the mixture of a play on words and a reminder of encouragement that some day I'll be sitting front row for Paris Fashion Week. It's great to stay on top of your goals and keep striving for the best you that you can be. Enjoy!

Think Pink

Hey Fashionistas! Happy Fashion Week and welcome to my new and improved blog. The look is different but the fashion certainly is not! This What to Wear Wednesday I am wearing a thrifted floral top, a pastel pink skirt from Forever 21 and the perfect gladiator sandals from Urban Outfitters. This monochromatic look is great for the fall season! It's fun and fresh and will for sure set you apart from all of the other fashionistas. Also experiment with pastels. An all pastel colored palette is trending for the fall believe it or not. I may not be able to be in New York for fashion week but I'm sure going to dress as if I was sitting in the front row. Hope this inspires your next look!
